Randy Yee
I am a husband and father of three boys, and my life is shaped by faith, family, and a desire to serve others well. With an accounting degree, an MBA, and a CPA license, I’ve worked in public accounting, corporate finance, small business consulting, and now as Treasurer at Seven Hills Church. Those experiences have taught me how important it is for organizations to feel confident in their finances and to know someone is handling everything with care.
My Story
For more than 25 years, I have worked in public accounting and corporate finance, beginning at KPMG and later serving in financial reporting and operational roles at The New York Times, HBO and Warner Media, HelloFresh, and now BBC Studios. Those years taught me the value of strong systems, clear communication, and integrity at the enterprise level.
In 2024, I had an opportunity to start consulting for a fintech startup and stepped in as Treasurer for a new church plant. Being involved in the day-to-day operations of smaller organizations strengthened my hands-on experience with QuickBooks, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, treasury management, financial statements, and building simple, repeatable systems. Even though this was not my full time work, I found myself genuinely passionate about helping organizations feel secure and supported.

Starting Five Finance grew out of that passion. It combines decades of professional experience with real-world operational work to help churches and small businesses build clarity, stability, and confidence in their finances.
